Making changes to achieve something better or overcoming a challenge can be overwhelming. Coaching provides independent, non-judgmental support to help you move forward.

Along the way I will help create clarity of purpose and direction, challenging self-limiting beliefs and encouraging you to move towards a successful resolution of your challenges and goals. It’s a collaborative partnership that supports you in directing your focus and energy on transformational change for the things that really matter to you.

Coaching Is Different From Mentoring & Counselling

Coaching is unique in its approach to driving change through being solutions focused, action orientated, facilitative and collaborative. Focussed primarily on moving forward rather than fixing the past. The latter is the main focus of “Counselling”.

Although, through coaching, the past may be explored, this will be to identify limiting self-beliefs that may get in the way of moving forward.

Further more, coaching differentiates itself from “Mentoring” requiring experience in the area being mentored and is commonly used in organisations between a senior and more junior person.

Coaching is carried out in an informal and relaxed setting and can be done online or in person. Anyone with a desire to achieve change and goals can benefit from coaching.

For business clients I combine coaching with mentoring as I find clients wanting specific advice and guidance as well.

Who Can Benefit from Coaching and what process do you use?

The simple answer is everyone!

Whether you are running or starting up a business, looking to develop your leadership skills or looking to make personal changes, I can provide impartial and non judgemental support allowing you to explore all the options to achieve your goals – and yes there will be some you haven’t even thought of yet.

I can help you understand and remove the barriers to making progress which are often self-imposed beliefs that can hold you back.

At its core, coaching is a conversation which clarifies your goals and aspirations. Looks at your current situation and then identifies all options and removal of barriers that enable you to achieve your goals. It is also about you committing to the changes necessary to meet your goals.

In order help facilitate the process we will use a number of tools and frameworks. However they are just tools and not the solution, that comes from you. You decide what you want to discuss. I do not set tasks, that will be your responsibility along with the timeframes. I will however challenge you and potentially take you out of your comfort zone.
